1979 COLT TROOPER .22 LR 6-shot revolver, with abeautiful original factory blued finish. Colt first introduced the Trooper in 1953 and it was an immediate success with law enforcement and civilian shooters alike. The new Trooper employed a unique transfer-bar lock system so that the revolver could only fire if the trigger was deliberately pulled completely to the rear.  Colt Trooper revolvers are now highly prized by Collectors and their values continue to grow.  Finding these old-school beauties in high condition is becoming very hard nowadays, especially with their boxes and paperwork. This particular example is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful inky blued finish.  The original factory walnut target grips are pristine, with sharp checkering throughout. This firearm easily rates at 99%, and would be a great addition to any serious Colt collection.
