This is the storied Model 19 Combat Magnum, in the most popular configuration of all: nickel finish, 2.5″ barrel , adjustable white outline rear sights, red-ramp front sights and best of all,  it was a factory special-order adding those gorgeous Goncalo Alves finger-groove combat grips.  That’s about as good as it gets if you love Smith & Wesson revolvers. This is one beautiful weapon, and make no mistake- it is a helluva weapon. Prized by Collectors, Law Enforcement, and Shooters for decades, the 2.5″ Model 19 is King among short-barreled handguns. Manufactured in 1982, this gun is in very high condition with only the faintest of handling marks and little if any evidence of use. It looks like a new gun, and shows beautifully. Anyone who collects handguns will tell you, that among different examples of the exact same model, in the same or very similar condition, many times one gun just looks better than the rest.  That is certainly the case here- this one is a real beauty.
