1975 SMITH & WESSON MODEL 34-1 The Smith & Wesson Model 34-1 “Kit Gun” was originally designed to be a premier carry choice for Outdoorsmen and Shooters. Today, it has become a highly collectible firearm for S&W Enthusiasts, although it would certainly serve well as a premium every-day carry. It is a six-shot, small-frame revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle and built on the compact carbon-steel J-frame. The factory bright nickel finish makes this firearm highly collectable, and somewhat rare. The nickel finish was used to provide excellent corrosion resistance for hikers and fishermen carrying the revolver in their outdoor gear “kits”. As a 1975 vintage piece, it features classic mid-70s craftmanship, including a pinned barrel, micro-adjustable rear sights, a serrated ramp front blade, and a distinct color case-hardened hammer and trigger. This beautiful Smith & Wesson Model 34 ships 100% complete in the original serialized box and includes the factory manual and all paperwork as well as the unopened factory tool kit.
