1995 BERETTA 8000F COUGAR, RARE FACTORY NEW CONDITION, FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION ,  Italian-Made, 9mm, SA/DA pistol. This Beretta Model 8000F is a member of the Beretta 8000 Range, a family of rotating barrel semi-automatic pistols that was designed and manufactured by Beretta of Italy in early 1995. They first appeared on the market as a more compact alternative to the full-sized Beretta 92 service pistol in order to offer a compromise between ease of concealment and carry, accuracy and firepower. The 8000 series was developed around the .40 S&W cartridge, as well as the popular 9mm.   The Cougar series was designed for use by both Law Enforcement and Civilians and particularly for civilian self-defense.  Beretta ended the production of the 8000 Range in 2005. Today, finding the collectable Cougar models in high condition has become extremely difficult. Finding one in unfired Factory-New condition is unheard of. This particular example is in the highest possible condition, having been unfired and stored since production.  It ships complete in the original blue Beretta hard case and serialized outer Beretta box, with two 10-round factory magazines, Beretta lock, manual and all warranty and factory paperwork.
