2006 BERETTA 92 FS  “GHOST”, .9mm Semi-Automatic pistol, AS-NEW in the box. The Beretta Model 92 is one of the most easily recognized handguns in existence.  Released in 1975, this legendary model is still in production over 47 years later. Berettas that are manufactured with a stainless steel, or “Inox” finish as it is called in Italy, have always been more popular and far more valuable than the more recent models that feature cheap black plastic controls. These earlier made Berettas feature an all-steel construction and all stainless steel controls. As a result- the completely grey appearance of the all steel guns led to their nickname- the “Ghost”. The Beretta 92 is not only beautiful, it also has a well-earned reputation of being one of the most dependable semi-auto pistols ever produced. So much so in fact, that it replaced the venerable Colt 1911 as the standard issue sidearm of the US Military in 1985. This particular example is in fantastic AS-NEW condition.
