SIG SAUER P239, SAS (DAO) CUSTOM SHOP PRODUCTION with premium rosewood grips with silver medallions.This SIG P239 is a 9mm , 8+1 shot Double-Action-Only pistol. The P239 was developed in response to requests from Law Enforcement and Federal Agents for a premium quality compact back-up pistol ideal for off-duty concealed carry.  SIG then delivered a winner with the introduction of the P239. The slim profile of this new single-stack pistol provided easy concealment without sacrificing handling. SIG produced the P239 from 1998-2018. The P239 was always popular for its reliability and accuracy, but it is also well known as a perfectly balanced pistol that is an absolute joy to shoot. This particular P239 was manufactured in 2016 and is in 99%+ condition.  It appears to be unfired since the factory test fire and is in extremely high condition. This weapon also comes with a significant upgrade:  a set of gorgeous SIG checkered rosewood grips with silver medallions. The fit and finish of these grips is superior to any we have seen for this model, particularly around the magazine plate, (see photos).  This firearm was purchased by our Company’s Owner years ago and placed in our vault until now.  The Custom Shop SAS version of the P239 is highly sought-after and almost impossible to find today in mint condition.  Most Sig lovers were mystified as to why this popular model was discontinued- and very few like this one come along any more. This premium Sig Sauer pistol would be a great addition to any SIG collection or would certainly serve as a  premium personal defense weapon.
