1984 SMITH & WESSON MODEL 60 “CHIEF’S SPECIAL”, 5-shot, .38 Special revolver with a gorgeous original stainless steel finish. The S&W Model 60 was the first regular production all-stainless steel revolver ever made. It has always been one of the most popular of all the Smith & Wesson classic revolvers. There was actually a six month waiting list to even get one when they were first introduced! Prized for being ultralight and easy to conceal, before the addition of that ugly lock on later models. This particular gun has remained in as-new condition since its production in 1984. There is no evidence of handling or firing outside of the factory test fire. We rate this firearm at 99.5% Collector’s Grade.   Although introduced over 50 years ago, the Model 60 is still one of the most popular self-defense firearms ever produced. This gun would be a great addition to your S&W collection or would serve well as a premium every-day carry. Ships complete in original serialized factory box and includes manual, paperwork and unopened tool kit.  Please see photos for item condition and complete details and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have at [email protected].
