1980 SMITH & WESSON MODEL 66-1 COMBAT MAGNUM, 6-shot, .357 Magnum, with a 6″ barrel and a gorgeous original stainless steel finish. This is what they mean when they say “Old School” Smith & Wesson. This is a beautiful firearm that appears to be unfired since the factory test fire. With no turn line on the cylinder, this beauty has been a true “safe queen”. This powerhouse of a firearm also has a host of desirable features no longer available on today’s machine made revolvers like a pinned barrel, recessed cylinders, red-ramp front sight and a hammer mounted firing pin. And of course, this weapon is also missing that ugly lock installed on later models. The original Goncalo Alves target stocks are pristine and have very sharp checkering. Mechanically, this gun functions flawlessly. The lockup is rock solid on every chamber and the action is factory-tuned smooth.  This is the complete collector’s package shipping complete in the original serialized box and including the manual, tool kit and factory paperwork.
