1994 BERETTA 92 FS “GHOST”, Italian-Made, 9mm Semi-Automatic pistol, NEW & UNFIRED in the box. The Beretta Model 92 is one of the most easily recognized handguns in existence.  Released in 1975, this legendary model is still in production over 47 years later.  Berettas that were manufactured in Italy with a stainless steel, or “Inox” finish as it is called there, have  always been more popular and far more valuable than their American made cousins. They are so prized because unlike the the guns produced in the US with black plastic controls,  the original Italian-made Berettas feature an all-steel construction and stainless steel controls. The completely gray appearance of the Italian-made guns led to their nickname- the “Ghost”. The Beretta 92 is not only beautiful, it also has a well-earned reputation of being one of the most dependable semi-auto pistols ever produced. So much so in fact, that it replaced the venerable Colt 1911 as the standard issue sidearm of the US Military in 1985. The early 90’s Ghosts are highly prized by Collectors due to their clean appearance- without all those warning labels placed on later models. This particular gun is absolutely immaculate- with a stainless steel finish that is as close to perfect as can be found. We found much of the heavy factory oil still present and absolutely no handling marks of any kind.  This beautiful weapon has remained undisturbed since its production 30 years ago and is in the highest possible condition. It ships complete in the original Beretta hard side case along with two 15-round factory magazines, both original cleaning rods, the manual and factory paperwork. Even the original adhesive hangtags are still attached and the seals are unbroken.
