SIG SAUER SP2340 “BLUELINE”, .40 S&W, 10+1 shot semi-auto pistol. The Sig SP2340 “Blueline” is a variant of Sig Sauer’s SP2340, a semi-automatic pistol that marked Sig Sauer’s first entry into the polymer-framed handgun market in the late 1990s. The limited production Blueline edition was especially tailored to the needs of law enforcement, but  also immediately found a dedicated following among civilian shooters.  The SP2340 Blueline offers substantial firepower while maintaining the trademark reliability and accuracy for which Sig Sauer is renowned. Built with a robust polymer frame and a Nitron-coated stainless steel slide, the SP2340 Blueline is designed for durability and ease of maintenance. One of the standout features of this model is its SIG Pro interchangeable grip system, allowing for customization of grip size and contour, making it adaptable to a variety of hand sizes and shooting preferences. It also employs the proprietary Sig Sauer Four-Point Safety System, which includes features like a de-cocking lever and a patented automatic firing pin safety block, enhancing the pistol’s safety mechanisms.  This particular example is in extraordinary 99%+ Collector’s Grade condition, having been purchased by our owner personally in 1998. In addition to having a Swiss-made frame, this particular weapon has been upgraded with Crimson-Trace polymer grips and a Streamlight TLR-1 HL rail light. This configuration provides the ultimate premium personal and home defense weapon. Vintage Sigs are very sought after these days and almost impossible to find in As-New condition.
