1979 COLT LAWMAN , 6-shot, .357 Magnum revolver with a 2″ barrel and a gorgeous original factory blued finish.   The Colt Lawman was first released in 1969 and was built on Colt’s new smaller “J” Frame. The new Lawman featured newly designed coil springs and a revolutionary “transfer bar” ignition.  The 2 inch Lawman also had a rounded butt and came with special grips that were not used on any other Colt revolver.  Today, these revolvers are prized by Collectors, having only been in production from 1969-1983.  This particular example is in outstanding condition, rating at 99%+ Collector’s Grade. The finish is deep and inky – with almost no evidence of handling or firing.  The original factory target grips are absolutely pristine, and have very sharp checkering. Vintage Colt Lawman revolvers in the 2″ configuration have now become scarce, and it is very rare these days to find one, especially in this high condition.  Ships complete in the original factory box and includes the manual, factory paperwork and hangtag.  Please see photos for item condition and details and do not hesitate to contact us directly with any questions at [email protected]
