1968 COLT TROOPER .357, 6-shot, .357 Magnum revolver with a 4″ barrel and an extraordinary original factory blued finish. Colt first introduced the Trooper in 1953 and it was an immediate success with law enforcement and civilian shooters alike. Today, these revolvers are prized by Collectors and their values have skyrocketed.  Early Troopers from the 1950s and 1960s are now practically impossible to find in high condition, especially with their original boxes. This particular gun is in spectacular condition, easily rating at 98-99%. The finish is spectacular- showing no real evidence of handling or firing, outside of a tiny mark on the front of the cylinder crane that does not detract from this amazing guns appearance. The original factory “half-moon” target grips are possibly the most beautiful we have seen, with a deep dark walnut finish and no wear. This firearm is without question, the highest condition early Trooper we have seen quite a while. This beauty comes in the original factory serialized box and includes the signed factory test-fire target, sight adjustment tool and all factory paperwork.  Please see photos for item condition and details and do not hesitate to contact us directly with any questions at [email protected]
